The "Wireless Networks" tab is missing
I am trying to troublshoot a wireless connection:The wireless Windows Zero Configuration is enabled and running, however the "Wireless Networks" tab is missing from the wireless network connection properties window. Any ideas on how to restore this tab?The radio works, and shows a TX/RX connection, but the router will not assign an IP address.Windows XP SP3, ThinkPad T30 laptop.2 people need an answerI do too

I had the same problem - reinstalled windows, updated it with service pack 3 and wireless tab was not visible. I couldn't view any wireless networks. WZC was started and running. Tried several suggestions on different threads but none seemed to help. This finally helped:Click on 'View available networks' and then 'Change advanced settings'.Under 'Wireless Network Connection Properties', click on 'Advanced' tab.At the bottom of the advanced window I had a link to setup network connections (I am not able to find it now - so don't know the exact name) and clicked on it. It led me through a series of steps where I clicked next/ok. Finally, after finishing it, the wireless networks tab appeared! Dunno why!
